how do youguys know which teams are in which group?

Only me and Jupiter voted the previous system, i don't like it either that the value changed, but 50%+1 won...nothing to complain...

How about something like 6 1v1 RR 1 point each
and I know it sounds insane but how about on 3 of these RR we use templates other than strategic ME
and we do 3 2v2 RR 2 points each, each one on a different template and 2 3v3 RR worth 3 points each
this way we use more players on a variety of templates
I know chances of these ideas to be accepted are slim to none but I'm putting it out there for the hell of it

Honestly, I never really understood why team games give more points.
Why winning 3vs3 was the same as winning 4 times 1vs1?
So, I think now it's better than previous league.
If it was up to me, I would give 1 point for each game :D

Ineffable, the biggest issue with that is it requires 6 players to compete. Some clans don't have enough active players to do that.

To be fair, if a clan doesn't have 6 active players, how much of a clan is it really?

apex has 6 players, but only 5 play for them in the clan league. Is apex a clan?

Personally I'd agree with Ineffable and Pushover here, as only two clans in B League (MC, as a last stand before it hit the grave, and Master, which was just formed) had the minimum 4 players.

In A League, I count... WM = 7, Apex = 6, AHOL = 7, WG = 8, CPU = 10, REGL = 6, WL = 9. None of these are the minimum 4 players.

Although Ineffable's system would make clans edit their lineups, it does even better than any point change in letting one person's boot feel like less of a disadvantage.

Anyway, if we assume that people get booted from a whole tournament (It seems more likely that one person would go inactive than get booted in only one game), then the only way to really lessen the impact of that is to make more tournaments.

You're only 6 players? I would have sworn you were more than that...

I think the new scoring is an improvement from last time, but if team games are that much more important doesn't it make sense to play more of them rather than make fewer worth more points than 1v1s?

jeez there is huge hostility going on for clans that haven't even been in the league ... give the league format a shot before you condemn the system. And honestly you aren't going to step in from not being in previous leagues and just flat out say I want in the highest clan league when the other clans in Group A have paid their dues and have been apart of this league. Maybe after this league a complete overhaul of the groups may need to be done especially since we are getting so many new clans that want to join. Until that happens quit complaining about the system and try it. If you don't want to no one is forcing you to be in the league heck go and try and make a league of your own and see who joins it. It could be a whole AFC and NFC division or National and American league. I think if you get that working maybe this league would agree to an annual playoff system of each group. Until then quit bashing JSA's efforts and put up a team and let your warlight play do the talking. Goosh this forum's becoming a cat fight and its pissing me off ....

I don't see the problem in this. It's more possible for you to have a boot loss in 3v3 than in 1v1. See.. miss 1 player and lose half your 3v3 games and 1/6th of your 1v1 games assuming he's not in 2v2.

not that i have a problem, but who suggested using 2 Medium Earth templates for 2v2 instead of 1 ME and 1 Other template?

Aranka, the Group A clans voted to change it. Just becuase your clan does not agree with this point system does not mean the majority's on your side. The majority is in fact for changing it to this current system.

I am not proposing in my suggestion to refrain from using the votes of the group A clan.
What I am proposing is for a verification of the clan league system over all the groups to get equal treatment and singular rules regardless of whether or not it's Clan League group A/B/C or even D.
Seriously though, why would the voting be limited to only group A teams and not to leaders from clans in group B and C ??
If we want to be elitist like your current voting system is there are arguments to also say that the votes of WM and GG should count more since they respectively won group A and B. Furthermore these also contribute more players to the competition then the other respective clans in the group.

So to summarize I would just like to say I'm curious if the majority is still open to this point division if the votes of group B and C are also included.

Aside from that, even if we keep the point system as it is in order to not make a singular 3vs3 game so important - why not just make 2 3vs3 games ??

@Brain - I would also like to know if the 2x 2vs2 Strategic ME had also been voted upon by the respective teams or if this was an individual whim by JSA

I hate to say it but I agree with Aranka :P

Like I said before, why can't clan leaders from the other divisions vote? It seems ridiculous to me that only the top division's clans get to vote (not even the first ones to join the league).
