Now that all groups have started, I will break down the promotions and relegations, assuming no dropouts over the course of the season. If/when we do get dropouts, I will modify this promotion/relegation scheme as it happens.

GROUP A - 2 relegate (gain 2 from B)
6th and 7th place relegates

GROUP B - 1 dropped out, 2 promote (gain 2 from A), 2 relegate (gain 3 from C)
1st and 2nd place promotes, 5th and 6th place relegates

TIER C - 3 promote (gain 2 from B), 4 relegate (gain 5 from D)
GROUP C1 & C2 - 7 players each, winner promotes, 6th and 7th place relegates
2nd place C1 and 2nd place C2 will have a playoff to decide the 3rd promotion

TIER D - 1 dropped out, 5 promote (gain 4 from C), 5 relegate (gain 7 from E)
GROUP D1 - 6 players, 1st and 2nd place promotes, 5th and 6th place relegates
GROUP D2 - 7 players, 1st and 2nd place promotes, 6th and 7th place relegates
3rd place D1 and 3rd place D2 will have a playoff to decide the 5th promotion
4th place D1 and 5th place D2 will have a playoff to decide the 5th relegation

TIER E - 4 dropped out, 7 promote (gain 5 from D), 4 relegate (gain 6 from F, gain 4 from G)
GROUP E1 - 6 players, 1st and 2nd place promotes, 6th place relegates
GROUP E2 - 5 players, 1st and 2nd place promotes, 5th place relegates
GROUP E3 - 6 players, 1st and 2nd place promotes, 6th place relegates
3rd place E1, 3rd place E2, and 3rd place E3 will have a 3-way playoff with the winner taking the 7th promotion
5th place E1, 4th place E2, and 5th place E3 will have a 3-way playoff with the loser taking the 4th relegation

TIER F - 7 dropped out, 6 promote (gain 4 from E), 3 relegate (gain 12 from G)
GROUP F1 & F3 - 7 players each, 1st through 3rd place promotes, 7th place relegates
6th place F1 and 6th place F3 will have a playoff to decide the 3rd relegation

TIER G - 4 promote to E, 12 promote to F (gain 3 from F)
GROUP G1, G2, G3, & G4 - 7 players each, 1st place promotes to E, 2nd through 4th place promotes to F

Unfortunately dropouts turned a pretty clean promotion/relegation scheme into a clusterfsck. Ah well, at least the playoffs should be dramatic. Also further dropouts may end up negating the need for certain playoffs.

If dropouts do happen during the regular season, a combination of more promotions and fewer relegations will be made to make up for it. This means, the above promotion/relegation scheme can be considered a worst case scenario.

I know Math Wolf got third place in a very competetive newbie group, so he should be expected to promote here. Also, a full 1/3 of the players in this tier failed to join their groups, so this tier has been consolidated into two groups.

Just tossing an idea - in C, D and lowers: as there will be people who won't either be promoted or relegated, let there be draw for each of groups for each season (of course, between people in same tier). This way there will be no boredom as in few seasons people won't fight the same people. However, that is not possible for groups A and B.
Also, the lowest tier (that is tier G) should be done in different format - instead of RR it should be either single elimination tournament or double elimination tournament. If later and if winner actually win all games, the winner should be promoted not to tier F but to tier E, thus double promoted.
Filling upper groups should be done regarding starting of the season, not after the end of season, so each player will be able to know if his position is good enough to advance or not (as not only winners will be promoted), also for relegation.
Killing some groups from tier (like deletion of group F2) didn't help, too, but if three groups are filled with 4-5 players, although they will have less matches, will also give better impression of who will be promoted.
However, this comment should not be considered as critic, as IMHO Pushover did great job (can't find better words for this, not to mention more superlatives) and without him and his effort all of this won't be possible.

I will never ever change the format away from RR for any level. If you want things to happen like this you can make your own league. This is non negotiable.

I will always randomize groups, drawing from 3 pools, relegated players, static players, and promoted players (and a 4th pool for groups receiving promoted players from two tiers). For this season I tried to evenly distribute players according to position from last season. Going forward random is probably the only fair way to go.

"so each player will be able to know if his position is good enough to advance or not," this is clearly impossible, people will always drop out mid season, promotion and relegations must be adjusted. And have you even read this thread? I have already provided the worst case scenario and I said I'd update it as the season progressed.

Killing F2 was required because 7 people in tier F didn't join their fscking groups. Having fewer than 7 players in some groups was required because people didn't join their fscking groups. If people actually told me they were dropping out between seasons then this wouldn't be an issue. But it is and I have to deal with it as I can.

Because of the way invites work in warlight, shuffling players so that all groups get filled is not feasible. I would constantly need to ask players to join and then decline and join something else. Or stagger the start ridiculously, so that tier G starts 2 months after tier A. Just starting the groups without the laggards is easier. You have to realize that telling warlighters what to do is like herding cats.

Thanks for the suggestions but for the aforementioned reasons I'm ignoring all of them :P
