Maybe the first one is before picks are made and the second one on turn 1? Even though it is the same game, but maybe flash's cache makes a difference for a while.

there is in unity also the fogged version shown, where in flash the not foggy version is shown(even ended games are fogged in unity as thumbnails).

Bye the way, I suggest changing the message "you or a teammate must use a card" in multiplayer games, where you have no teammate to the same message like in single player("you must use a card").

Fizzer, in games that haven't started yet, in the Add/Remove Players screen, could you sort the players by their join status? AKA put together all the players that haven't joined. Because if I create a big game with 40 players and only 20 accepted, and I want to start the game, I have to remove the other 20 manually, and they're all over the place.

Is it possible to control the preference for flash/unity across difference machines/browsers?

Maybe not something worth spending time on as a feature, but perhaps a subdomain that forces one or the other to save changing the global setting while still in alpha?

A new version is out! Here's what's changed:

3.20.2 2017-08-08:
- Added a tick sound that plays when buttons are pressed.
- Added a link to your template in Create Game.
- Added commerce setting to Create Game main page. Thanks to ViralGoat for pointing out this was missing.
- Added ability for mods to interact with commerce games: Mods can see cities and gold, GameOrderEvent can set a player's gold, mods can set a player's gold directly, custom orders can have gold costs. See the new Gift Gold and Buy Neutral example mods for examples of how they work.
- Capitalized "GPT" (gold per turn). Thanks to TBest for suggesting this.
- Tweaked texture compression to reduce memory usage of the app.
- Fixed a bug that made deployment progress not update immediately when building or un-building a city. Thanks to dabo1 for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that made the Commit button grayed out when you must use cards, but you've already played as many as you must use. Thanks to wakanari for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug with socket connectivity that could cause updates to be missed. Thanks to Muli and dabo1 for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug with the in-game menu that caused it to be positioned incorrectly if opened and closed rapidly.


Q&A:

Is it possible to control the preference for flash/unity across difference machines/browsers?

No, but you can control it by request by adding &Unity=1 or &Unity=0 to your querystring. It's useful if you want Unity enabled most of the time, but occasionally want to go check Flash for something.

in flash, this image is shown as game thumb in my games and in unity this thumb is shown

Hmm, they should be the same. Was it a no-luck cyclic game? Game link would be helpful.

Since the game, from which I took the thumbs isn't any longer in the distribution, I need to give you this link https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=13922952. Their is the thumb also in the same way different.

Ooh I see the problem now. You're right, this is a bug. Sorry about that, I'll have this fixed in the next update.

It also seems like the blacklist symbol isn't shown any longer(over the colors of blacklisted players) in the my games window

Anyone else that doesn't like the tick sound? It happens a good half a second after the click, and it's pretty annoying. I have to disable the sounds now altogether :(

I love that tick sound, but I am sure Fizzer is going to do an option to disable it (seperate from other sounds) in the settings.

in multiplayer tab, in past games, when clicking the 'next' button to go to another page it keeps you at the bottom instead of auto scrolling you back to the top.

If you log out and then log in again into an other account, you still get the games of the other account(refresh hides them, but just the button, if you open a game and come back, the games of the other account are shown again. Even if you are logged out from both accounts, you get the notifications for both accounts.

Tested on Android 8

I changed ui scale to maximum value on my phone and it wouldn't let me change it back. Had to Uninstall and reinstall. Samsung galaxy s4

Fizzer could you make links to warlight games clickable? Cuz there's no way to copy paste on mobile. Also nice to have would be links to forum posts.

Also when new mods become public could the creators of those mods make a forum post to discuss them, create games etc. Because i just noticed there's a mod where you could buy territories with gold

I think this is desired. Notifications are tied between the server and your device. You can log into an account, go to the settings, and uncheck the notifications box to stop it per account.

You can copy a message by long-tapping it. But it copies the entire message, so you'd have to trim out the non-link parts if someone put text before or after the link, which I know is a pain.

Sure, it's probably a good idea. Mod discovery is certainly something that will need work some day, but it may not happen until after launch.

I made the Buy Neutrals mod as an example one to show off commerce mods. I did mention it in the patch notes above. Also take notice of the other mod I added at the same time: Gift Gold mod, which is great for team commerce games since the transfers happen instantly.

@Fizzer, would probably be good to make a Mods subforum. Perhaps right now making it member-only access so to avoid advertising things that aren't released as well as making it easier to find modded games.

If this happens, if possible make it so the threads do not get auto-locked after a while. This is because someone might want to "necro" an old thread of an old mod to request for update/updating help, as well as post his own updates.

^ Could use the general/programming sub form instead because there isn't really any point to create a thread about a mod in a mod subforum and for non-members to not know anything about the mod when Unity is released for non-members. Mod developers can also add a description about the mod anyway.
