A politics forum will not happen. This is Warlight, not reddit.
A RP-forum for diploers simmilar to the strategy forum might however have a chance.

I agree that this is a place where politics do not belong. It's a strategy game, for crying out loud.

However, a politics forum could still be useful in saving the off-topic forum. 95% of the hidden posts have to do with politics. If all of that was piled into one location, off-topic might be bearable.

This isn't a matter of encouraging political posts; those are already aplenty. This is just a matter of confining said posts to their own category.

I think the bad guys of the "politic" forum would not comment there since noone can stand Tabby, and all Tabby ever posts is politic philosophy.

Wouldn't matter if people posted there or not, since all political threads would get moved there by a mod anyway.

As long as we build a wall and prevent politics from mixing with the rest of the content. Keep it equal, but separate.

so basically it is all about saving the off topic forum, right? why dont you just evolve this idea and suggest a forum for shit chat or a troll forum. I wonder how that would work out ... it would be pretty awesome if this would be vastly used and save the overall forum quality. =D maybe you could hide the entire forum from the forum list. great idea guys! =)

And THAT is why I started the RATIONAL DISCUSSION PM Threads, to avoid oppression. Fizzer banned my brother multiple times just for being Muslim, so I wanted all faiths to be respected in my RATIONAL DISCUSSION PM THREAD. My brother says secularism is a big mistake, though.
