Who is whining about it?
I'm not even complaining about anything , you ACTUALLY think I don't realize ALL THAT already? Have you even read ANYTHING of what I've replied to other people here? Honestly?

Price fopr membership is very resonable for what you get. Warlight is the only game i have purchased membership on for this reason. Fizzzer could get away with raising it to $40 but the current price is nothing to complain about.

How many times do I say it , the only thing I have problems with is the fact that members don't have enough benefits , I want to buy the membership too and hell I can afford it -_-"
but the $30 seem like a lot for benefits so less.

I don't think $30 is too much (I spent $60 on Diablo 3 and would sell it in a heartbeat if I could...thanks blizzard for having it on lockdown).

I am fine with the features of membership. All I want is that mobile client on iOS.

:)

If warlight memberships could be lower they would! How ever you want to think about it here are the facts.

-Fizzer, the game creator is a 1 man team.

-Form what I know warlight is far from bringing in big profit.
Maybe Breaking even; with small margin for error.

-30$ U.S dollars maybe a lot for a country were money value is lower then the U.S dollar.

But to be faire WarLight membership price targets a certain age range.

-ideally WarLight is not for young kid with no idea how to manage money.

But if your interested in buying a membership and money is the problem you can save up. If you cut out 1 dollar a day; form buying lunch, in a month bingo.

Hope this helps

I feel that first off the price is more than fair (at least in my mind, considering all the enjoyment it has provided me). But I think Fizzer is missing out on a potential additional revenue source. There should be an option for a one year membership at say $9.99? For those that want to "try out" the advantages of membership without putting up $30. I don't think that it would negatively affect his membership sales as those that aren't worried about the $30 will also see the advantage to not paying twice for the same service, and those that would be interested in a 1 year membership weren't going to put out the $30 anyway. Perhaps even put in an incentive- say that if you decide to go for the lifetime membership within the year that your 1 year membership is active the $9.99 goes towards the cost of the lifetime? (haven't been closely following this thread, so if this has been previously hashed out my apologies)

Totally worth it. OP has played more than 300 games, it's worth it just for that. Even if it didn't let me do anything special, I'd have paid Fizzer just for creating a great game.

Hobbit 3D:
Money spent: 12 € ticket + 6 € beer & popcorn = 18 €
Lifetime wasted: 3 hours

cost per hour: 6 €

Justin Bieber CD + box of matches:
Money spent: 17 €
Fun had: 2 minutes (watching it burn)

cost per hour: 510€

Warlight:
Money spent: 30$ = 22.50€
Hours of Entertainment: +1000 games, average of at least ~15 turns per game, 5 minutes per turn -> 1250 hours

per hour: 0.018 €

I rest my case.

@Wordsworth , I've already seen that thread , Min34 gave me the link to that , Please refer to page 1.

@dodo comander , I dont think you've read ANYTHING of what I replied to everyone else on page 1-2 , also having said that , I can afford the membership as I've told the people GAZILLION times , it's just there's not enough motivation for paying for membership worth $30 with benefits so low >.>

@Bigby I like how you putted up your opinions up front without trying to harass me directly/indirectly (unlike a lot of people here) and instead of yearly packages why not more benefits (outside of games) for members?
I only feel that the only 4 benefits you get as a member (which are useful) are not enough spending $30 on , lol although the "try out" idea , I remember seeing it somewhere , it was on some site which started with B and ended with S and had , double Z's in it :p
Anyway , still appreciate you putting up your opinion without being rude , so thanks lol

@Guderian Well , if you say so :) and more than 500 :p a lot of 6 player FFA's I play are mostly FFA's with rules for role-playing and I end up voting most of the time :P
and yeah I realized the same when Min34 gave me the link to that other thread :)
So , thanks for putting up your opinions on it as well , I'm actually having second thoughts about buying membership , haha :)

@Diabolicus Sorry I just noticed your post as well and your equation is , don't mind me saying it.....ridiculous , I tried looking at it from every angle , but it's still ridiculous.

Care to elaborate?
People pay 30$ for a movie night worth 3 hours of entertainment - but they moan about 30$ for a lifetime warlight membership that can possibly keep them entertained literally thousands of hours. You are right, that is ridiculous, I see what you mean :-)

The luck setting, custom scenarios and making tournaments are all VERY good features, even if you never play in the ladder.

They add a lot to your gameplay experience.

Like I said, I've gotten more fun from warlight then I did from Diablo, which costs twice as much.

It would be nice to add a decent new feature every once and a while to members (maybe every 3 months). That would perk interest a little more.

@ChrisCMU Exactly what I meant lol , new features once in a while will make buying membership worthwhile.

@Arc There's a difference b/w helpful advice and calling me poor/cheap just because I'd rather spend $30 on a pizza than a game and because of me trying to see if I'm getting the $30s worth from it (Not that you said to me , I'm referring to those who did directly/indirectly ) , I actually read what you said and sadly , I realized everything you said a day back when Min34 gave me the link to a similar thread like this , sorry if you thought my typing tone was rude , that was not the intention. :) Anyhow , it's all upto you if you wish to leave a threat or not , I just wanted to clear stuff up :)

and @Ironheart Ikr lol.

Still , I'd actually pay for membership from my own money than my parent's (and I'm more than willing to wait for it lol) there's atleast this satisfaction that I'm not wasting THEIR money on some game I like.
[Not saying it'd be a waste of money , but my definition of 'wasting' meant expenditure]
