a clan, i think is a group. A group, i think, is just made up of 3 or more people.

So i think the minimum should be 3 actually :P
though having only 3 players mean that the clan will get deducted points.

JSA, I think that so far it has been working fine, and anyway how many clans do actually have 4 players and compete in this? As far as I am aware none, unless the unaffiliated team joins, I doubt they would get too many players with the,, but they aren't really a clan.

Also for now there hasn't been any problem with the system, so I think it should stay, when there is a problem and it goes wrong, then changing makes sense. However keep the rule that you can't have 1 person playing 2 1v1s or points deducted, makes sense.

I talked to Mannerheim a few days ago and he asked if he could field different teams too, if thats your question then no, you cant, cuz its going to held like a tournament style, once the teams are submitted and the tourney starts, you cant change teams.

This is not possible aranka, because you are in a bunch of RR tournament, and you cannot change players half way through a round robin.

I agree with a min of 6. Otherwise the sample size of that clan is simply too small. Plus it allows two teams for 3s. The small amount we have now means larger clans have to tell many members they cant play

For next season, we will do 6 from each clan, 6 1v1's, 3 2v2's, 2 3v3's. That allows up to 18 players to play which only a couple clans have more than 18 active players I think. If a clan has only four people, they will face a small penalty but not large enough to give them no chance at winning it. The deadlines for lineups in Group A will be June 1. The deadlines for lineups in Group B and C will be June 8. Hopefully the tournametns all get started before June 15.

This season will stay at 4 1v1, 2 2v2, 1 3v3. Too many clans have already submitted lineups to change it. I can put 5 day autoboot I guess, with less players/teams in each round robin, it shouldn't stall the tournament much at all compared to 3 day autoboot.

I agree with a 6 player minimum. I think it makes it so that 2-3 players can't just carry a clan, you need to have some sort of depth to compete.

As to the different tournaments for next season, I would like to see a 4v4 instead of (or along side I guess) the second 3v3. You could use a map like Double Earth.

ps. REGL has 40+ active members (I don't feel like counting right now).

I personally have never seen any good 4v4 templates. 4v4 seems less about skill and more about who gets less bored during the game in the games I have played and watched with it. If you can find or make a good template and people want it, I will add one team of 4v4 for the next clan league.

- Poland Big
- Double Earth
