Why does a level 55 care about points anyway? You've unlocked everything. You win. Now get lost freeloader.

2 words of caution to people playing coin games:

- Playing a game with more than 2 people (at least for the auto-games), Warlight takes a higher percentage of the earnings. The 2 player auto games pay out 90% of the total to the winner, but the 4 player auto game only pays out 80% of the total payed in.

- Read the ToS, in it's entirety, especially this part:

"Warlight receives a general processing fee of $2.00 (USD) for each withdrawal You make from Your Account, in addition to any additional bank processing fees related to transferring funds. Warlight receives a general processing fee of $4.25 (USD) for emptying a Player's Account below the 1000 coin level."

So not only do you need the high level of $75 dollars to be able to withdraw, but when you do withdraw, WL takes $6.25 of that, leaving you with $69.75/$75, or 93% of your winnings.

This type of "fine print" is common in gaming and similar transactions, but I'm just trying to provide some caution to you guys who are thinking of spending money on coins. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy them, or that you should take this at my word rather than reading the ToS in full for yourself, only voicing some concerns I have and giving more visibility to them.

@Darkpie If you work in factory x and gets 5 $ per hour and a other works in factory y (do the exactly same things) and gets 25 $ per hour than its not fair. In this game it chance nothing you have right but the point is you use more time and gets lesser points. I say it again its the principel. I shouldnt care about points but its the thing that i use more time for lesser.

Right, but this is a business, and you're not putting in the same "hours". Other players are paying into the system and you are not, hence the difference. Think about if you're both working in a factory, the other guy is putting in 40h/week, and you're putting in 0h/week. Should you get paid the same? No, be thankful you're getting paid at all for putting nothing in.

Okay, My attempt to turn this thread away from more complaining....

Ideas for Coin Games:

Seasonal Ladder:
Buy into seasonal ladder for X coins, top Y players get payouts.

Tournaments:
Single Elim, Double Elim, and Round-Robin tournaments, similar to Seasonal Ladder Games, with a single buy-in, and prizes at the end.

Is buying coins for other players an option?

Now, a question about coins.
My playing is drastically cut down lately, but I think I saw these No-Luck games with first pick decided by a player that commits pick orders first. I also saw coin games that are multi-day. I also saw a fairly empty coin game lobby.

Putting these three together, I see that there may be a distinct advantage to joining a multi-day coin game that has been open with one player in it for a long time. The idea being, you could jump right into the game, and get picks in before the opponent even realizes the game has started. Is that right?

Anyone can use coins. You just can't withdraw them back into cash if you're a minor. Everyone can get the 5x point multiplier.

The time it takes you to pick is defined from when you click "begin" to when you commit your picks. There's no advantage to madly refreshing and trying to be first to see that a game has started.

I also think cointournaments would be a great addition to this. Though I suggest only making RTtourneys and MDtourneys with a maximum of 1-2 day autoboot available. Playing a tourney that drags on for several months would be a bad idea when it's for real money. Limiting the number of players in cointourneys would also be a good idea.

But, If the 1st player that joins is AFK, waiting for the Multi-day coin game to start, then the 2nd player that joins will get the picks in first. Or am I missing a step to the mechanics?

How does that work for players with the 'Skip the Begin Button' option toggled?

Love it.
Though I haven't tried out the coin games yet due to my hiatus from the game, I damn sure will once I get back into this.

Fizzer should really make a secondary seasonal ladder and give us the ability to create tournaments with buy ins like it was suggested somewhere.

Also, maybe just maybe, separate statistics on the player profiles for coin games and a score table of most won, not bought, coins much like there is one with points?

Why do these games not have transfer/attack only options on them? Also, it does not state on the page that they are RT, nor does it have a template link.

I also don't understand the 7,500 coin minimum to withdraw. I get the idea of having a min, but I could go 100-0 on the Earth 1v1 (80 coin deposit) and still not have enough coins to actually withdraw them. Sure, I can make higher coin games and get there faster, but that still seems silly to me that I could win 100 in a row (and since it is anonymous you cannot game the system) and still not be able to do anything with those wins.

Can you please put the game link back in settings? Some of us use the Chrome Application Shortcuts to play WarLight and therefore can’t see the address bar. It’s very inconvenient to have to open a new Chrome window just to get the link.
