May I ask for the reason for level requirements for clan league templates? Why are lower level players excluded from specific templates? It seems easier to me to have no level requirements at all in clan league. Or, just have the same level requirements for all templates if lower level players should be excluded from clan league.

The level requirements have technical reasons. The CLOT can't invite a player to a game on a template with a setting they haven't unlocked yet.

Thanks! Still this looks strange to me… I just created a game from the cl16 french brawl template (level restriction 48). And it was no problem to include my level 39 alt (not a member, no unlockables purchased) in the game. So there must be some restrictions for the CLOT which don’t apply to me when I create games.

Sure, that doesn’t work. I am aware that unlockables apply to the creator of games, just don’t see how they would apply to the players.

Correct, those restrictions only apply to bots.

For human players, as long as you have the settings unlocked, you can invite any* account to play on them. (Even including mods if you pay a few coins to Fizzer.)


* Provided the account actually still exists and is not currently suspended.

Thanks! So Fizzer put some extra effort into a special logic “if game created through API, apply unlockables to players instead of creator”. I wonder what was the reason for this extra effort. Maybe the option to create a web page, which would enable anyone to create any games through APIs with a proxy user with all unlockables enabled… Which would allow any member to bypass unlockables. But it doesn’t seem to be a really convincing explanation for Fizzer’s motivation.

The Simulation signs up, but as a replacement for previous clan Nofrag. Same people, just a different clan name.
