I think I'll drop out again if we can't get %0 SR. Getting some terrible luck on these today and if it is just ladder settings it doesn't really add anything.

Although I don't really have anything against 0% SR, I'm a big fan of WR(0%). There is a lot of additional strategy which comes into it in my opinion. Risk vs Reward is an integral part of how Warlight should be played.

SR on this map feels like just going through the motions :|

With this being said, I do understand your frustration. But I feel it will balance itself out. Besides, these seasons have a really short completion time, so an important game being lost on luck is not that big of a deal for me, as I can always come back next season!

I suppose. I get why it is ladder settings (well, right now it is not), but that also means it loses some appeal IMO. You end up playing the same people pretty often, so that is a negative compared to the ladder. I'd rather see it still Strat ME, but a variant you can't just play on the ladder already. So like SR, or MME or cyclical order...something so it isn't just playing 3 or 4 of the same people over and over on settings you can already get on normal ladder, auto games, etc.

My question is about the 4 H groups in this. Do you have to go through them all, or can you get promoted from any of the H groups to G?

When does the next season start? I'll be interested in playing then since school is almost over.

SNinja, it looks like all the H groups are beginner groups, although that's probably not easy to tell by looking at H1. It's my understanding that you can start in any one of them and go on to G if you're good enough.

Metatron is once again in position to win the group, so long as he doesn't mess it up. He has tiebreaker on both Falker and Bigchps, the other front runners. Beren is also in the mix but his wins come against 2 of the bottom 3 players.

He has actually booted from his last two games, and will likely need to win both his remaining games to avoid relegation.

Wow, why did so many good players decide to join all at once? To torment Frank when deciding the groups for next season, obviously. It looks like the winner of almosttricky and MoD will win the group! A note, given *four* bottom groups, the difference between first and second place could be significant in terms of promotions, so every game counts for the new players! (That said, given the composition of other groups, it would be robbery if the top two players of this competitive, 7 player group don't get the same benefit as the winners of the other small groups)

Ollie this happened last season in my group. Falker, Niko, and I had tied. Actually just for the top spot, I dont think we had a tie for relegation too. He will do the positions based on who you beat.
