holy crap, what is wrong with those policemen? I can totally understand why some people seem to hate the police in america! In germany something like that would never happen. Yes I agree with that. The US media has recognized a problem, but I think they have made it seem like a race problem. The Michael Brown Case was a huge controversy, mostly because the media stirred it up. In that case, Officer Wilson shot Michael Brown in self defense, and the facts back that statement up. Yet the media portrayed Wilson as guilty long before seeing all the evidence. What the media should do is wait until the evidence comes in, and then present that evidence to the people. What they do now leads to uneducated, ignorant people protesting. What the media needs to do is present some cases in which the officer, who should have been found guilty, was found innocent. The media is the most powerful tool for getting things done in the US. What the media says, the people believe, and the lawmakers try to please the people. The media has made the average American realize that there is a problem with the police force, but I have heard very little from the media on how that can change.

The Walter Scott shooting is another example of a problem with the US police force. Shooting was completely unnecessary. He has been charged with murder, and I assume he will be found guilty (as he should be). Walter Scott was not a completely innocent man though; he was pulled over, and made a run for it. This is such a stupid quote. Jessica A. Cooke had a perfect reason to run, but was tased instead. If somebody runs away, it shouldnt give permission (and hopefully doesnt do either) to shoot him in the back 9 times. this would be hilarious if it woudnt be terrifiing. My point is that Scott was doing something wrong. If he hadn't ran, he would still be alive. I'm not saying that what the officer did was right. In fact, I'm saying he did an awful thing and should be found guilty of murder. But I am saying that if you are an innocent person, you don't have to worry about being shot by police.
