I think Ben Wants a tab under community where you can submit a video to the site then Fizzer or Mercer looks at it (and if it is Warlight Content) they post it under this tab. so basically if you guys want to start a WL youtube channel or post your lifestreams on youtube, ppl can actually find them.

"What about a team chat for 1v1 game so we can make notes in game?"

Basically but I'd like to be able to edit the notes. I imagined it as a notepad built into warlight where the links to territories work.

The video idea is pretty cool too

There are multiple ways you can make small things seem bigger. Most games use it on skins, just make some sort of way to "pimp" your profile and you'll see a lot of people wanting it (youtube cs:go unpacking videos anyone?). You can do it both as a member exclusive or you can do it sc2 way, where you use leauges/ranks for profile picture frame. I'm personally fine with what I can do in warlight, I wouldn't mind more customizable options with wastelands though (multiple different eastelands).

+1 to Sze's multiple types of wastelands point

I don't think private notes for 1v1 games should be a Members Only feature, since that is something that can actually help you win a game, and we want to avoid anything that is remotely pay-to-win. That said, that is a feature that I'd love to see.

How about removing the clunky [M] next to the name for starters.

Also, I see a problem with the name option. Someone could buy membership and change their name to yours constantly just to troll you.
Example: player A is forced to move to Player A2, so they change their name to Player C. Member changed their name to Player C and player C is forced to move to player C2, and because they don't like have a 2 after their name they move to Player D. Player C who is a member now moves to Player D forcing non-member player D to change to player D2, and then to player E. And so on.

Reserve colors and notepad is a +1

Still think picking slots should be a thing.

Members should also have an option for third main color should the first two fail

Larger games and mail threads

Access to testing maps

Special single player challenges with high point income but very tough

And ben's points multiplier.

These are my suggestions.

Randomized bonus values.

There was a season where this was a thing, and I came across it when voting on uservoice. I can see members enjoying that :)

Exclusive usernames with memberships is an interesting idea but will likely not work (as many people have mentioned already). If it is implemented and multiple members have the same name, my suggestion would be to let both of them keep it. Or if a player buys a membership, they should be able to pick any name they want.

The exclusive forums for members would likely not have much activity, but it wouldn't hurt and should be easy to implement.

Seeing the last 10 games of any warlight player is a good idea. In a lot of chat games, many players already use team chat to discuss with others. With this change, all clans would likely use games with team chat, so it is not a big deal. Also it may help catch alts, and might be interesting to watch some of the games.

A 3v3 ladder is very much needed. I think most competitive players in the 3v3 Europe ladder are longtime warlight players, and so are members. This is a thing that I could see persuading some people to buy membership.

The ability to customize your profile page as a member is also a cool idea. A little bit more freedom on the profile page would be much appreciated. Maybe the ability to reorganize where everything goes to some degree, the option to add up to 25 favorite tournaments, etc.

The name change idea is essential for members I think. Give them the option of changing their name every 30 days like it used to be. This won't inspire people to buy memberships by itself but when added with these other ideas, it makes membership much more tempting to some.

The possiblity of leveling up faster (1.5x normal rate) is something that makes no difference to me but some people would enjoy it more, and I can't see how it would hurt, and it should be easy to implement.

Mail threads with more people is a great idea. I'd also like the option to add a player to a mail thread after it has been created.

Ben's video integration idea is really cool too.

Multiple friend lists would be great, and would be a nice perk of being a member.

More colors would be nice, even to just choose between the 50 already made for the large games.

I like all of Lackadaisical's ideas. Creating a custom scenerio with one click for just members would be a big incentive. Basically you can see how the game will play out without having to recreate all the wastelands and the starts in a custom scenario. Being able to sort realtime ladder games by templates would be awesome. Voting on the seasonal and realtime ladder by just members is also a good idea; it would make these ladders more popular, and would be another nice incentive for members.

A good idea would be to create games with slots. I have always wanted to do so, and I would pay for it if I got some other neat things along with it.

@Krzychu your idea for "open games" link is interesting. The primary reason the "open games" link removing was because we are shifting away from flash on all pages.

That said, we could spend the extra time to make an HTML version of the page for members if that has more support by members and potential members.

Another reason for the dashboard is that in our testing it is easier for new players over separate pages. However if advanced older players tend to be members then bringing back the page for members might work. We just want the experience for new members to be a positive one. Development time is something we consider when adding value.

How many want the link and page? If you are not a member, would this feature be worth it to you? If we don't see support for it, it is hard to prioritize in our software roadmap.

I think the big problem though is just the dashboard organization. The masses would probably be fine with it if there was some work done on it. Mercer - please see my mock up in there (with tabs). Perhaps that is a good solution?

In the past the respond from Fizzer on a lot of popular ideas was
it is good but a low priority
how about you pick the most popular doable uservoice ideas and say
you want this give money/coins towards the cause
so you would set a timeline and a coin goal and if enough coins are raised than you implement the feature
this way the community gets something that it really wants
and the site makes some money

@Ineffable, I don't want to hijack this thread. So please form a new thread. We could try your idea out, we can see how much support there is. Here are a few of the top requested features on Uservoice. Pick which one you want to see the most. If we have a committment of $5,000 in coins I can guarantee we will get that feature made within a month. Make a new thread with the feature and ask people to commit coins in the thread. (Donations of free coins we gave users are not allowed of course)

1) 3 v 3 Europe (no cards) Ladder
2) Peace Treaties
3) Able to see who is online
4) Add a "friends list" subset to the invite list
5) Overhall of Clan System
6) Multi-attack card
7) Deployment Limits: a Tactical Option (esp. for Multi-Attack Games)

I did not think you would require so much money
I was under the impression many of these are a day-2 days work tops
thanks anyway

YouTube idea:
- Under Community tab, a sub-tab titled videos is created.
- YouTube users can register their YouTube accounts and when they are registered their videos will show up there.
- This encourages the game advertised onto YouTube and current users to get more views.

An idea with this:

Every video a YouTube user puts out with Warlight in the title, they recieve 5 coins. This would further encourage people to advertise the game in other places.

Btw, seeing any players' last 10 games is a terrible idea imo. First it can give access to many chat games players want to keep private, not to mention since the start of coin games best players tend to hide their pick preferences etc.

So maybe an option for members to only see recent Open games/Ladder games then? To be fair, coins=currency, people try to do as well as they can with it, so Sze is right.
