@Fleece I don't have membership, so I had to rule out the way you would do it. I'm not a mod either.
@Chris I could do this but the values (especially map stats) would be out of date and would take a while to update. I can go through map names and map creation date easily, but I'm a little pre-occupied ATM.
Well, this is sort of already close to what I was planing to do, build a database for all the maps, for when I finish my random map picker for the map club. But it all depends on how much time I have to do that, I can build a list of all the maps and their creators pretty easily just as it is, in a similar way to how knytes clan and player scrapers work, but it would just be a list, nothing fancy.
Edit: I also want to add that the end result would be a template database, with all the available templates, with a rating system and auto-hosting of the most popular ones, once my hosting bot is ready anyway, it's getting there :)
Don't worry about time, fleece, there is plenty. Take all the time that you need. Its a huge favor to the whole of warlight, and no one should be impatient about it.
Well, I worry more about saying I'll do something and then being so busy that I might not get round to it, it puts me off mentioning things I want to do, but then it also helps to have encouragement for motivation, I guess it's a tricky balance...
It is similarly shaped, but when I played Falkland it was messed up (been a long time). It had missing territory links and such.
Thanks for input. I plan on making a Great Lakes Basin 2.0 with some of the smaller bonuses combined in an effort to create more hotspots. Right now there are too many areas to pick for certain templates.
