iOS, when looking at open games with teams, the brackets the group players together break up at any UI scale above 1.8

iOS, some white parts of a map dissapear when the chat tray and one of the side trays are open at the same time. not sure if this is a map issue or game issue.

You're right, it seems that when the zoom levels get very small, some items aren't drawn. I'm not sure exactly why that happens but it probably has something to do with the GPU thinking that the item isn't in frame, or is too small to be seen, so it doesn't render it as an optimization. I hope this isn't too big of a deal though, since you'd have to zoom in to actually play the game or see anything useful, and it seems to only happen on a few specific maps as far as I can tell. Thanks for reporting it.

A new version is out! This was released only to Windows, Mac, Linux, and WebGL. iOS and Android will not receive this version.

Here's what's changed:

3.19.17 2017-07-12:
- Added the ability to group up deploy or attack/transfer orders when watching turns play out. This can be turned off in the Settings menu.
- Single-player games without a human no longer auto-watch the turn.
- Fixed a bug with bosses that made their health not show properly when navigating through history. Thanks to Muli for reporting this.
- Fixed a bug that caused an error when playing single player games without a human.

Let me know what you think about the new grouping feature!

A new version is out! This version is released to all platforms except iOS.

Here's what's changed:

3.19.18 2017-07-13:
- When starting a new game, the map now zooms in on your territories and highlights them. This is designed to help you understand where you start.
- When a player's displayed income changes in the lower right hand corner of the screen, it now bounces slightly so that it's more visible.
- Recieve card and playing reinforcement card orders now group up when watching a turn.
- The top-left control now animates when switching states, such as to history or when committing.
- When picking territories, clicking a territory that you can't pick now flashes the territories you can. This helps newbies figure out what they're supposed to be clicking on.
- The Commit button is now faded out slightly when you can't commit, either due to not having deployed all your armies, not played cards when you must, or not picked enough territories.
- Fixed a bug that made multi-attacks get grouped up. They should play individually to make more sense.
- Fixed a bug when viewing multiple orders that made the camera zoom to a single order instead of zooming to show all of them.

I cant use my touchpad for zooming in games and scrolling in game settings anymore. Can still use to scroll on the open games page, could this be related?

I'm not aware of any changes that could have affected this. Do the P and M hotkeys work for zooming? (short for plus and minus)

I got to give feedback, this last update makes it feel like the game is changing, the showing multiple moves at once in watch history
it really makes it look more like a war instead of a turn based game, it was very confusing at first and i thought it was buggy, but it didnt take long to figure out
one thing though, the autozoom or autocenter could use some tweaking, i do miss orders when theres multiple at once at opposite sides of a big zoom out

When i open a finished game of myself (https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=13802310 in this example) and try to watch the game back i get an error message. After clicking it away every next turn or so i get it again.

When i've exited the history and open it again the button with "close history" has no text in it as well. This is what it looks like then with error message.


i'm using the WebGL version on Google Chrome

When Unity starts it reduces the volume of music played with VLC-player extrem.
If the page is closed music is again normal...

Thanks for the feedback -- I've been surprised not many people are mentioning this feature, I thought it would have a big reaction. I agree we may need to separate groups by regions. Do you find this happening only on big maps, or on normal sized maps too?

What OS are you using? I've never seen this happen. I did some Googling and found this: https://www.tekrevue.com/tip/windows-reducing-system-volume/, if you're on Windows can you try that to see if it solves it? It would at least identify what the culprit is.

I've been surprised not many people are mentioning this feature, I thought it would have a big reaction


Says something about how little the 'Play' button is used among advanced users. It's, like never used.

I just tried it. On some turns it's quite neat, on others it is just too much to quick, and I can't keep up. Maybe this would be a cool option for YT exports?

Right now, I have to say that the old 'Play' was simpler but better.

Some tweaks I think could be considered.
1. Only deploys for one player at a time. I know that this would mean not following the move order, but it still is more logical. (to me at least).
2. It is great for showing transfers and such. Not so much for multiple attacks at neutrals, unless the neutrals are in the same bonus and/or close.
3. The income thing (text saying 'Receives...) blinking when it changes should be a longer blink.
4. It works well with normal fog, but when you have no-fog it has too much happening super fast. Perhaps treat different fog differently?
