I had about 300 games by level 16 (yes yes, I suck)

I didn't even realize booting was a big deal until level 16, and by that time, I was already at 30%

I'm lucky to have brought it down so low.

So let us see... 300 games with a 30% boot rate equates to 90 boots.
Now played 1463 games with 214 boots. That means after learning that boots were bad, you have played another 1150 games and been booted 124 times, or 10.7%.

Yup, really learned your lesson...

10% boot rate is like getting booted 1 every 10 games, for me that's not that bad...

Although lawlz, I can make more points in 2 games than your 59 games have gave you for the last month. ;)

And i thought my bootrate was high when i jumped above 1% .. Usually i don't take players who are over 5% seriously. Above 10% is borderline irresponsible, anything more is making me wonder about the person's meaning of life..

When i was new i didn't know that you can surrender or what that means, so i've been booted from about 70% of all games. But if you know the basics of this game it should be easily possible to reach a booting rate below 5%. I don't team up on tournaments with players who have a rate over 5%. Last time i did was in 2 rr tournaments and my teammate got booted from all 30games.

lol @hauptman and @5... feeling down about a <1% boot rate sarcastically xD I don't even know how people keep it so low unless you only play when you know you arn't busy...

Practice games reduce your boot rate and you don't have to worry about your win rate.

Boots from practice games still affect boot rate.

As for keeping boot rate low, its very easy as a MD player.

Create a bunch of them, and just surrender immediately, and your boot rate will be diluted enough. It'll also get you a lot of games "played in."

I belive practice games don't count on your statestic at all. Don't affect boot rate don't affect win rate.(not sure about played in)

They do affect boot rate and total games played in. Stat wise, that's it.

I haven't tried it, but with the relatively new "replace the AI"-option, it might be possible to get a bootrate above the 100%.

Also gargamel had a few hundred simultaneous "games", when he was farming lotteries.

The question was who's got the most active games, not the highest boot rate! I'm in 15 right now but my highest was probably only 25... I'm usually Real-Time not Multi-Day.
