At least you cannot blame X for being inconsistent. Earlier, he advised some people to commit suicide, and now when lawlz says he might do it, X tries his best to reinforce those thoughts.

People who commit suicide as in go through with it. Typically are not doing it for attention so they don't go on forums and tell people about it they just do it. Usually privately to increase the odds of not being rescued.

People who attempt suicide often do this for attention as a result of environmental pressures that make them feel like they are unloved. This generally is a cry for attention not an honest attempt at ending ones life.


There has been numerous studies on suicide to suggest that those that indeed go through with it have a strong genetic predisposition. Indeed the idea of self-termination goes against the grain of what evolution has trained us to do that being to self-replicate and survive.

So long story short I agree with X. You don't really fall into either category Lawlz this is a community of random strangers who are not your family the delusion for you is that they are. If you reallly do feel suicidal you should not be playing video games you should be making real world connections with people around you. Reaching out to people on a game forum to help cope with your suicidal thoughts is not constructive go see a therapist go see a psychologist or a psychiatrist. We are none of these we cant help you

Leo, are you even reading or thinking about what you are posting? I get you are opinionated, but does this shear hatred towards lawlz really need to be expressed in this manner? Hate him all you want but saying "we didn't care about your existence anyways" is just disgusting to me.

There are 3 life lessons that i would like to point out here which everyone should take into account:
1) Think before you speak/act
2) Treat others the way you wish to be treated
3) Karma; what goes around comes around

He is not threatening to commit suicide for attention, he is merely pointing out he is having suicidal thoughts and i wouldn't blame him after reading half the things people are saying to him on this thread. Different things trigger depression for everybody and everybody experiences depression differently. Suicide is not something to jab at people about and tease them for thinking that they are attention seeking.

Or if he just says that because he´s a troll than you are just giving him what he wants, attention. But I doubt that because if that is his goal he wouldn´t give up his acc, what he is really doing btw I know that and he gave it to another warlight player...

I know you think you have to respond to his rebellious post but I think he just wants to tell you a last time that you´ve really hurt him because he sees the warlight community as family and even if you think that´s bullshit, please forgive him he´s not omniscient... and you are neither.

If you are indeed having suicidal thoughts because you're upset what complete strangers think about you on an online game forum, you need help. Seriously. I feel genuinely sympathetic for you. The fact that you play 65 Warlight games at a time tells and comments more than anyone has already told me long ago that you spend way too much time on this game. From my observation, you are always so concerned and defensive about what people think about you and your clan further tells me that Warlight plays too big a role in your life.

If this really isnt a ploy to draw sympathy and attract more attention as X has said, then it has gone too far. Stop. Consult a psychiatrist or some sort. Dont come back till you are capable.

While I do think the Lawlz bashing on this thread has gone a a bit far, I think it cannot technically be called cyberharassment because lawlz specifically stated that he would not read the replies... Astute point, indeed. One problem though, if that was the case the genetic predisposition would have likely died out thousands of years ago...unless it's a reoccurring mutation? Or those with the predisposition procreate rapidly enough to keep the genes alive before they off themselves...

Logically speaking, it makes more sense that a society that is changing under globalization and rapid technological development has left a portion of society largely isolated, as other studies have suggested over and over again. Also, economic problems can be included since Lawlz already claimed he was a member of the working class and likely to never work his way out.

This feeling of being trapped in a rut and isolated from the larger part of society brings about suicidal tendencies as people turn to destructive behaviors such as drug abuse.

You're the first one to use my new name, congrats X! Anyhow, cynical isn't the right word as that could only really be applied to you. He never said he was going to commit suicide, rather he said he has had suicidal thoughts because of the way people treat him here.

I'll be honest, when I try to put myself in X's shoes I get suicidal thoughts as well, but I might be misinterpreting the homicidal undertone. X, don't give in to those thoughts! You wouldn't last a week in prison!

Anyways, back to the point, which is that a larger portion of the posters on this thread don't seem capable of reading simple English, which irks me to no end. If you don't understand something, ask. If you do understand, don't misinterpret for your gain or entertainment unless you're X and want to watch the world burn.

Well I did say predisposition. It doesn't mean 100% of people with the genetic predisposition off themselves it merely suggest that these individuals lack a sense of self preservation and when environmental pressures push them they simply fall down instead of pushing back.

So you could hypothesize that one with a predisposition to suicide that has everything go right in their life is extremely athletic and good looking would have no environmental pressure to commit suicide and so therefore doesn't and has 7 or 8 kids and spreads the gene on.

Also you could look at the advantage to a suicidal individual in the evolutionary gene pool. Think about protecting the young lets say a saber tooth tiger is going to attack your child or your mate self preservation would normally dictate that you let the animal attack your child or mate so you can live on and reproduce again. One with a suicidal predisposition would be more likely to stay and fight.

I would also agree with your assertion that the isolated parts of society probably exacerbate whatever underlying genetic issues were there in the first place.

Not to mention that it is now understood that environmental pressures can alter genetic structures in individuals. So it would not be to unusual to surmise that given the environmental situation you highlighted that a significant portion of that population would become more predisposed to a variety of mental stresses.
