They honestly just come to troll the forums. Once you remove that privilege they will either learn to obey the rules or leave warlight for good. This is a win win situation.

This I honestly feel is the better alternative. However considering the circumstances I suppose it would be best to kiss up to google for the time being. I seriously hope that the general populace here on warlight will be able to post pictures again and those responsible taken care of. I think more moderate powers would be a good idea to help keep the bad pictures down.

It really does kinda suck that the whole lot of us have to deal with this because of a few bad eggs. But I suppose that this whole deal will just stay the same once Google allows ads again.

Many things have to be done/improved and well it's true that I used to complain a lot like vitriol/knyte, but i have to admit also that things improved, just thinking about these "ask anything" sessions it allowed people to directly talk to him, I mean I also participated to it and posted a question, and he answered it in live, even if i was disappointed about his answer :( (which was about improving the clan system) but still that proves at least he does care about the WL community. It's also true that if you have any problem (for example something you do not know how it works), Fizzer will be ever here to answer and help you.

There is two things I can say about Fizzer.
1) Granted, Without Fizzer this wouldn't be possible; it must be hard to maintain Warlight on his own.
2) But if I worked 30hours a week on a game, that would be great. He barely works on it and when he does he forcing wrongful suspensions on people like me, when Lolicon has porn pictures in his profile picture. This guy needs to grow some balls, and stop abusing the app version which barely gets mentioned.
Furthermore..... 30 hours man ? An average person works 10-11 hours a day,so around 50 hours a week, and this is hard for sitting at home on a computer generating money from sustaining this game?

As long as Fizzer doesn't have ad revenue the game cannot be self supporting. I think Fizzer should be as draconian as he needs to be to get ads back from Google.

When you publicly declare you're going to blacklist someone it effects the community's view of that person. I don't want Zeph to be falsely impugned for sharing his opinion. There's no debate here for you to start, although I know you're dying for one wct. Don't blacklist him for superfluous reasons is all I was saying and I think many people can agree that that would be an overreaction.

but it's no newsflash that warlight has great number of idiots and trolls lurking about, especially in the forums, also the reason why i use Muli's script to hide 90% of off-topic posts from my sight and wish Fizzer would implement a link on https://www.warlight.net/Forum/ that would say "Relevant" and when you click on it only get posts from everything except off-topic.

My opinion here is, any and all measures to support Fizzer's appeal to Google ads must be taken. So far, I can support all the steps taken as they do impose restrictions upon would-be offenders and improved moderation.

Once the ads are back and warlight is financially stable again, we can discuss fine tuning and alternative measures because the best ideas will take time to implement, and that is something we don't really have, and unless you can show your experience in such matters, nobody has the right to say what time anyone else does or does not have.

It would simply be illogical to whine, fight, and cry over these changes right now, because they're necessary, and that's all there is to it.

I was surprised that inline images were allowed in the first place. The forums I've been on with a large under 18 crowd haven't allowed them, and some don't even allow custom avatars unless you donate.

This is a positive change for the forums and I hope the google funding returns quickly.
