GG
GG didnt have a good week. They went 2-3. This puts their total record at 34-14. Due to this result they weren't able to really shake off their competition.

VS
VS went 5-4 the past couple of days. They finished a lot of games this week. The result however is that they barely go positive. They still rest in second place with a 34-17 record. Their results this week, however, mean that they arent able to take full advantage of GG's mediocre week. It also means they failed to shake off the competition.

MH
Over the past days MH went 5-1. This amazing record puts them in a very close race for the promotion spots! MH now stands at a 37-17 record. With the most wins and the most points in the competition it isnt looking bad for them at all. The top three has moved very close together over the past week. This makes for an amazing and exciting race for promotion while the end of the season is closing in! Can MH steal one of the promotionspots in the end? Or will VS and GG be able to hold on?

WG
WG had a very calm couple of days. They went 1-2 and their total score now is 26-23. For now they are all alone in 4th place, with nobody close in front and nobody close behind.

SNinja
SNinja went 4-3. It is not a bad result, but it could've been better. Tulan got booted in a game he likely wouldve won. They sit in 5th with a 20-31 record.

BIA
BIA's record the past couple of days was 1-4. This means they are starting to lose sight of SNinja. Its getting harder and harder for them to be able to avoid relegation. Mathematically they are no longer able to finish in the top 3.

VIW
VIW also had a slow few days. They went 1-2 and logicaly not a lot changes in their placement. Their total record now is 12-42. They are no longer able to finish anything higher than 5th. Meaning that 2/3 of their possible places to finish will result in relegation. its safe to say VIW's season has been decided.

GG
GG went 1-0 since sunday. This is of course a good result. They remain in first with a 35-14 record.

MH
This is really the only reason I did this update (normally if it were only 3 games I probably wouldve just waited till sunday). But MH has taken 2nd place! They went 1-0 this week. This puts their record at 38-17! This is enough for the second place!

VS
Very close behind MH is VS. They had a bad, and maybe surprising, result of 0-1 after they lost a game against BIA. Their total record is 34-18. This shows how close it is between MH and VS. But also GG has slowly fallen into their grasp. The top 3 has not been this close before! Meanwhile multiple tourneys are only 2 or 3 games away from being finished. Its good to see such an exciting end!

WG
WG goes 0-1, but so does the team behind them. This results in WG remaining the lonely 4th team. Their total record now is 26-24.

SNinja
SNinja goes 0-1. They fail to take advantage of WG's lost game. They remain in fifth with a 20-32 record. One thing changed for them however! SNinja is now no longer able to become first!

BIA
BIA went 1-0 over the past couple of days. A nice record! their total is now 19-37. They inch closer to SNinja. But whether or not they can actually catch them remains to be seen!

VIW
VIW didnt finish any games since last update. They went 0-0, which ironically makes it one of the better results they've had in these updates. They remain in last place with a 12-42 record.


On a sidenote: The top 3 clans are busy fighting for the promotionspots. Because this is so exciting, its easy to forget that they (technically) also couldve relegated. This is no longer the case! None of the top 3 clans is capable of relegating anymore!

Now what do we learn from this ?

#1 - GG (36-14, 72%) :

They are
- killing it on Final Earth (1), Guiroma 2v2 (1), Phobia (1)
- doing good on Europe (2), Elitist Africa (2), Strat Greece (2), Volcano (2)
- so so on Guiroma 1v1 (3), Old Strat ME (3)
- terrible on China (4), Deadmans ROR (7)

This team won 3 templates, with 5 spots taken by 5 different players ! That's impressive. Not surprising they are currently sitting on the top spot of the division.
A quick look at stats tells us player with the worst record seems to be Orascio (0-4 on Deadmans), while KO and Mifran seem to be leading their clan in terms of win rate.
So GG may benefit next season from either training more or replacing Orascio, or maybe simply changing the whole team on Deadmans next season, as Orascio may just be guided by more experienced teammates, so responsibility is difficult to credit without insider intel.

#2 - MH (38-17, 69%) :

They are
- killing it on Deadmans (2), China (2), Elitist Africa (1), Phobia (2), Volcano Island (1)
- doing good on Guiroma 1v1 (3), Old Strat ME (3), Strat Greece (3)
- so so on Europe (4), Final Earth (4)
- terrible on Guiroma 2v2 (5)

Stats don't lie, Hobo and Cluster are clutch players of the squad, without any losses (losses on Phobia are boots from previous player).
On the other hand, 90 and Emu seem the most in difficulty so far, struggling in 2 tourneys each, even though both doing good in their third tourney.
Interestingly they are both playing team games, with teammates doing ok elsewhere, and both closing the worst performance of the clan when playing together (Guiroma 2v2). This may show some lack of experience of the template, rather than practice at this level, considering their proven track records on ladders.

#3 - VS (34-18, 65%) :

They are
- killing it on Europe (1), Guiroma 1v1 (1), Old Strat ME (2), Strat Greece (1)
- doing good on Deadmans (3), Final Earth (3), Guiroma 2v2 (3)
- so so on Elitist Africa (4), Phobia (4)
- terrible on China (5), Volcano Island (5)

VS benefit from performance from their stars, INSIDE (10-1 on Europe and Guiroma 1v1), Glamourous (4-1 on Strat Greece) both topping the division in their tourneys, and Rocky (6-2) on Old Strat ME and Final Earth.
On the other hand, Mayor Sonnen seems to be the weakest link, with a 5th place on his 1v1 (Volcano) and a 3rd place in a tourney played with INSIDE (Guiroma 2v2) ; Demhunt likewise, as he's doing 5th in his only template (China), while his teammate Tobe performs in his other template (Europe) - of course those are quick analysis, that could be wrong.

#4 - WG (27-24, 53%) :

They are
- killing it on Deadmans ROR (1) and Final Earth (2)
- doing good on Europe (3) and Elitist Africa (3)
- so so on Strat Greece (4)
- and terrible on the rest : China (7), Guiroma 2v2 (7), Guiroma 1v1 (6), Old Strat ME (5), Phobia (7), Volcano Island (7).

SNinja either lacks of quality in its roster to compete well in Div. B, or of knowledge of some templates. We can assume their squad are active strategic players, and that they practiced templates beforehand. So probably problem is 1st option.

And indeed, on an individual level, Rakleader took part in 8 of the clan's 22 wins so far. Basically without him, their win rate falls to 29%.
On the other hand, Tulan (China 2v2, Guiroma 2v2 and Volcano Island 1v1) took part in 18 games, for 2 wins. So yeah, 16 of the clan's 34 losses occurred when Tulan played. Not taking his games into account, win rate would move up to 53%. Is there a signal here ? Something that is tried to be said ? Well, maybe Tulan needs more practice before playing in Div B again.

Guiroma 2vs2

Bia and Viw 3.3. Our best result. Given the shit my team made in 3vs3 europe, Verzus can be our best player

I wanted to give an analysis on a tournament when it ended. And an overall big analysis once the group has ended

Lol that the dumbest analysis ever. Only reason orascio is 0-4 is because his teammates didnt join the games in time. Maybe check the games before you can actually say something useful about peoples performances

Like I said the analysis was full of quick assumptions and looks at numbers. Doesn't matter if you don't like it, at least tourneys wins/losses are correct and analysis is correct for some clans, that's all I wanted and I thought posting it here was a good place to find it later if I wanted to :p

Good analysis Mike but like Ollie said, numbers aren't always informing regarding the performance of the players. Even in a clean loss (without boots), there are also other factors to consider when judging a win or a loss (cumulative luck if applicable, lucky/unlucky regarding the picks at the start, etc.). It is also harder to judge in my opinion in team games considering the praises or the blame can be spread across teammates and sometimes good players can play bad with some other good players when the communication or the chemistry between players is bad.
